Consultation Event, 21st October 2015

A public consultation exhibition was held on Wednesday 21st October 2015, at Alderley Park, where draft proposals for the future development of the Alderley Park site were unveiled.

A brochure was available to take away from the event that contained the information on display.

Public opinion of the draft proposals is being sought by the Alderley Park Development Team.

Local residents are able to pass on comments, through the company Resolve Public Affairs, by completing the feedback form at the back of the brochure or by commenting online at www.alderleyparkconsultation.co.uk

Make your views known to the Parish Council

Nether Alderley Parish Council is keen to know the views and thoughts of Nether Alderley residents about the plans and proposals for Alderley Park.

To this end, the Parish Council would welcome receiving copies of any comments that Nether Alderley residents submit at any stage of the Alderley Park development consultation and planning application process.

If you would like to make your views known to the Parish Council, please forward your responses by e-mail to the Parish Council Clerk at clerk.napc@btinternet.com or contact 01625 861942 for a postal address.

Important: if you would like the Alderley Park Development Team to take your views into consideration, please also make sure that you respond directly to the consultation, through the feedback form or the online link.

If you weren’t able to attend the exhibition on 21st October.

A further opportunity has been arranged for local residents to view the proposals and meet representatives of Alderley Park.

This will be held:

at                       The Helix Rooms at the Conference Centre, Alderley Park,

on                     Thursday 5 November 2015

between           3 pm and 7 pm

Members of the Alderley Park development team will be available to discuss the proposals and to answer any questions that members of the community may have about the plans.

Directions to the Conference Centre:

On arrival at Alderley Park, please use the entrance nearest to Alderley Edge off Congleton Road. Please report to the security gate before entering the park. Free car parking is available on site and you will be provided with directions when you arrive at the security gate. Disabled parking is available close to the conference centre entrance.

Also: The website www.alderleyparkconsultation.co.uk is now active and information about future plans can be viewed on the site.

The Alderley Park Development Team has explained that an outline planning application will be prepared for the site and submitted to Cheshire East Council in the coming weeks.
