December 2017

Hello All,
In brief what has happened in the month of November. We had a very good Bonfire night with reports of anti-social behaviour down on the previous year. Officers have made arrests with one male arrested in connection with 6 thefts an incident of fraud and various driving offences. Op Legionnaire, the road traffic operation, closed with 17 prosecutions, 4 arrests and 6 vehicle seizures making our roads a safer place. One male was sentenced to 200 hours for a racially aggravated public order offence and we are continuing to explore and build a picture of drug related activity in the Knutsford area. We have also been involved with our partners Trading Standards on a joint OP to tackle Rogue Traders that have been operating in Knutsford.

December will prove equally as busy with the Christmas period which will involve hi-vis patrols of the town centre and working with local pubs to make sure Christmas celebrations go smoothly.

May I take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy Christmas from us all at Knutsford.
