Once again the Pride of Nether Alderley volunteers have been out in the parish collecting litter and making our lanes clean, tidy and rubbish free!!

The Parish Council would like to thank Anne Bale and her team for all their hard work on behalf of all the residents as their efforts are much appreciated.  At this time of the year when all the lovely daffodils are coming through it is great to be litter free to just enjoy the bulbs that the group planted a few years ago.

There were 6 volunteers on this occasion and 9 large bags of rubbish collected. Other members of the group who couldn’t make the morning have collected independently. As always, a sandwich lunch was enjoyed afterwards at the Wizard pub!!

If you wish to join in with future litter picking, the group is always looking for more volunteers and any help is greatly appreciated. Please contact Anne Bale on 01625 582514.

Many thanks to all involved and we hope you all enjoy what Spring brings!
