The Countryside Code

We all want to enjoy our countryside, whether it’s for physical activity or our mental and emotional wellbeing.

At the moment the majority of people are limited to the areas that they can visit and when lockdown finally does come to an end, the expectation is, that we will see a marked increase in the number of people finally heading out to our more rural areas.

With this in mind it really is time for us all to brush up on our knowledge of the Countryside Code.
The code gives valuable advice on how to stay safe, control our dogs near livestock etc.

It aims to protect the property and livelihoods of people who depend on these areas and also helps those that come from towns and cities have a better understanding on the rules and behaviour.

Thankyou to all those who already understand the issues surrounding the code and would love your help in spreading this important message to as many people, adults and children alike, as far as we can.
