NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

WELSH ROW, NETHER ALDERLEY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, cabling works

Prohibition of traffic:

Welsh Row, Nether Alderley

From outside Hartford to outside The Coppice

The alternative route will be via Congleton Road, London Road, Wilmslow Road, Ryleys Lane, Chelford Road, Nursery Lane, Welsh Row and visa versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Monday 18th January 2021 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 5th February 2021.
