The Pride of Nether Alderley had a successful litter pick on Saturday morning. The weather was very kind to the eight volunteers who picked up litter along Congleton Road, Sand Lane, Welsh Row, Soss Moss Lane, Chelford Road and Nursery Lane. In all eight very heavy bags of litter were collected; mainly bottles, cans and food wrappings but two of the volunteers found used nappies. Afterwards five of the volunteers went to The Wizard for drinks and food.

The next litter pick will be on Saturday 13th January 2018 when hopefully much of the undergrowth will have died down.
