The Parish Council have been informed of the following and would like to share this information with all Nether Residents:

Cheshire East Highways have programmed the surface dressing works to be carried out A34 Congleton Road. Under current Health & Safety legislation and for the safety of our workforce and members of the public, it will be necessary for a road closure to be in place during the works. Works are scheduled to commence as follows:

A34 Congleton Road will be closed from:

                       20th July 2021 to 21st July 2021 and

                       27th July to 28th July 2021

with works going on between 9:00 a.m. – 16:00p.m.

Please note that occasionally the works have to be changed at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather conditions or logistics. Any changes or delays will be communicated through our VMS signs at strategic points.

We will, of course, endeavour to keep any disruption to a minimum throughout the duration of the works.
