Phone Frauds

There have been 3 phone frauds in the Macc & Wilmslow areas the calls have been slightly different:

1. Caller states they are from the Police stating victim has been a victim of bank fraud and need to withdraw their money immediately
2. Caller states from bank stating victims cash notes are fraudulent and they need to withdraw immediately and ring them back with the serial numbers
3. Caller stating from the Health Lottery stating victim won a large amount but need to provide them £1200 to release the full amount

The main link to each is that they have asked the victim to go to the bank and withdraw the money themselves and they would send someone round to collect. Unfortunately one victim did hand money over.
If you get a call like this DO NOT to withdraw cash for collection- contact the Police 101 or their bank to report the calls.
