Please continue to phone the 101 number if you see or hear anything suspicious on 101. We understand this can be rather frustrating at times for the waiting time during high volume times.

Over the past few months in the two wards we have had incidents in relation to dogs out of control and straying from either public footpaths or permitted access footpaths, Damage to footpath fences. Furthermore we have had reports of livestock either being worried or killed by a small minority of irresponsible dog owners who are not keeping their dogs on leads. (Latest report this morning 08/05/19 at Henbury )

There has been an increase of Keyless cars and vans being stolen or entered .
Our advice is:

– Switch your fob off at night
– Store your fob out of sight and in a faraday bag
– Update your vehicles software on a regular basis
– Consider fitting a tracker
– Consider fitting steering wheel lock
– Do not leave any valuables in the vehicle or on show
– Community Road watch new scheme to submit your dashcam to the Police to help keep roads        safer

For more information please go to the Cheshire Police website.

Most areas are asking for more volunteers for their Community Speed Watch Schemes, please volunteer for this. There have been very positive results in reducing the speed of vehicles travelling through your villages and past your schools.

Best Wishes
