The Parish Council’s Neighbourhood Plan has now progressed through its statutory Section 16 consultation and been inspected by an  independent examiner. 

The examiner has tested whether our Plan has met all the  consultation conditions and does not conflict with the National Planning Framework. We are please to note that this is the case and the next step is the local referendum organised by Cheshire East Council in January or February of this year (2026).

A simple local majority will see the Plan become part of Cheshire East’s Planning Development Framework against which all local planning applications will be judged.
