On Saturday 5th October a group of seven volunteers undertook a litter pick along the roads and lanes of Nether Alderley. In all 13 large bags of rubbish were collected. Fortunately it was a lovely morning to be out and about and we had a very sociable lunch at the Wizard afterwards. We continue to be saddened at the amount of unnecessary rubbish that is strewn around our beautiful village and shocked to think of the damage that plastics, polystyrene and broken glass can inflict on our countryside and animals.

Our next litter pick will be on November 30th. If you would like to join us please let Anne know on 01625 582514 so we can confirm the time and place to meet as well as ensure we have enough equipment.
